On which days / nights do you race?
Monday, Wednesday and Friday Mornings.
Thursday and Sunday evenings.

What time is the first race?
The first race on morning meetings is 10.30am, Thursday evenings 7.30pm and Sunday evenings 6.30pm. Please check website for timings.

What time do the turnstiles open?
30 mins prior to first race for morning meetings & one hour prior to first race for evening meetings.

Do you have a car park and can coaches park there?
Ample free car parking is available for bona fide customers of Swindon Greyhound Stadium. The Stadium does not accept any liability for any damage to, theft from, or loss of vehicle howsoever caused. Vehicles are parked entirely at the owner’s risk. There is plenty of space for coaches and minibuses. Overnight parking is not permitted. Vehicles may be removed. The distribution of leaflets and/or printed materials strictly prohibited on the Stadium site and on the car park.

How many races are there?
Up to 14 races per meeting, this can vary on different meetings.

What time is the last race and what time does the Stadium close?
The Stadium will close 30 minutes after the last race.

What happens if it is raining?
Greyhounds race in all-weather so rain or shine we will be open. We have large indoor areas with live television coverage of the racing so you won’t miss any of the action, with bars, snack bar and all betting facilities.

Do I need to book and pay in advance for Entrance and Trackside Packages?
All Trackside package bookings require full payment, in advance and in accordance with our terms & conditions of booking. You can book your entrance tickets online or pay for entry on arrival.

What happens when I arrive at the stadium and do I need tickets?
Tickets for Trackside bookings can be collected at the entrance (ID required). If you do not have a booking with us simply come along and pay general admission at the gate.

Is there a dress code in operation?
Smart casual. Persons wearing fancy dress or other clothes, which in the managements opinion is deemed inappropriate, will be refused entry or required to leave the stadium. . No hoods or helmets to be worn on the premises at any time.

Do you have private boxes for hire?
No we do not have any private boxes or areas.

Can you cater for large parties and/or corporate events?
We can cater for large parties as part of our Trackside Packages.

Can I sponsor a race?
A variety of race sponsorship packages are available.

Can I purchase a video, DVD or photograph of a race presentation?
A copy of the presentation photo is included in the sponsorship package. DVD's can be ordered from the stadium.

Can I set up a bar tab?
Bar tabs cannot be set up in the main bars.

What time does the bar close?
The bars close after the last race.

Can you accommodate wheelchairs?
Wheelchairs can be accommodated on our ground floor, disabled toilets are available.

Is there a cash machine?
No

Do you serve fast food?
There is a snack bar serving a variety of hot and cold food.

Can I bring children?
Children are admitted free of charge within the care of a supervising parent. It is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 years to purchase or drink alcohol or to place a bet. It is also an offence for an adult to place a bet or purchase alcohol on behalf of anyone under the age of 18 years. Children are not permitted at the bar or tote counters.

Do I need to bring ID with me?
We operate a Challenge 21 policy. If you are lucky enough to look 21 or under you will be asked to provide ID to prove that you are over 18 should you seek admission to the Stadium with a Six Pack ticket, if you attempt to place a bet or if you attempt to purchase alcohol. It is illegal for anyone under 18 to place a bet. Alcohol will not be served to, and cannot be consumed by, anyone under 18. Any person attempting to place a bet, or purchase alcohol, on behalf of anyone under 18 will be required to leave the premises. The only acceptable forms of ID are a current valid photocard full/provisional driving licence or a current valid passport.
